17th Entrepreneurship Summit 2019 – Strengthening innovation or a society with the joy of discovery and the desire to shape things

12th – 14th of November 2019 | Vienna, Austria
17th Entrepreneurship Summit - Strengthening innovation or a society with the joy of discovery and the desire to shape things

“Every year the Entrepreneurship Summit Vienna offers the opportunity to get to know inspiring people and their ideas. In various panel discussions and interactive workshops, the topic of entrepreneurship will be examined from various perspectives. In this way we want to strengthen young people in the development and implementation of their own ideas. In addition to stimulating keynotes and panel discussions in the large plenum, the wide range of workshops also offers the opportunity to network on a small scale with experts from the fields of business, social, educational, ecological and cultural entrepreneurship.”

planetYES has been given the opportunity to help shape the program. Some members of the planetYES Network and the core team have already agreed to give workshops and lectures. Wolfgang Lalouschek and Renate Christ will talk about systemic connection between climate change and society. Raphael Rigoberto Thonhauser will talk about the joy of discovery and Alina-Theresa Vetter will conduct a workshop about impact modelling. And more contributions from our side will follow.>

Immerse yourself in an inclusive, open-minded environment of critical and engaging thought and take the opportunity to share whatever drives you with your fellow THINKers! For the fifth consecutive year, the THINK V conference will gather up to 40 fresh minds for a highly intense five-day program. Their participants are students, young researchers and professionals at the begining of their careers.”

Transformation through cooperation - smart, vital villages and districts.

25th of June 2019 | Graz, Austria
Transformation through cooperation - smart, vital villages and districts.

The organizers Transition Graz, Transition Austria, RCE Graz Styria, IFZ Graz, FH Joanneum (Sustainable Food Management), Forum Urbanes Gärtnern, KuGeMENE, IP Vitale Gemeinde and many more invite to the symposium at Karl-Franzens-University Graz.
"Transformation affects many social dynamics, depending on changing values, economic and political developments and diverse actors who change their environment according to their ideas through everyday actions and institutional arrangements (such as laws and agreements). One of these dynamics characterizes the interaction of growing cities and population-weak rural areas. This transformation is not directly controllable. However, a society, a city or a district or a village can be changed in a targeted way if committed actors join forces to implement processes of change. As a number of examples already show, smart, vital villages and districts can emerge based on cooperation". Our impact expert Alina Vetter is invited to present our approach.
